More word art!!! But I couldn't meet the deadline to complete this assignment, so I didn't write in the english language. I think I wrote some posh italian on the black contours. This was a fun assignment, and I enjoyed playing with different sizes and shapes with the pen tool. I think I could have made this assignment better by having more time to write in a language some other humans can understand. But otherwise, I liked this assignment.

La Musica
So this was made for Art and Tech...over the weekend. I woke up in the middle of the night freaking out that I might not finish my project on time...and the file was on the schools computer, so, I randomly went down stairs and started doing this...it took a lot of time but I felt better because I didn't want to fall behind in the class...so now I have a project to fall back on incase I don't finish the one I was working on...
...all in all, I worry way too much. I mean honestly, thinking back, it's a wee bit ridiculous I woke myself up to finish this....

Two Roads Diverging...
These posts tonight are not because of homework, but mere boredom and my attempt at using Photoshop at home. I didn't do much to these photos -- they're some of my photography from a walk in the woods a few weeks ago, but I added some filters and text.
I cannot say much about this one, other than I increased the contrast so that the white really stands out, which in the end, highlights the withering plant. It is really beautiful back here though, in the winter. In the woods, while it's covered in snow...you feel the life, the heartbeat of nature...but you can tell it's sleeping. It's waiting to wake up from it's great slumber and bring us spring. Especially in Ohio.
I didn't realize the type of theme I was setting up while making this photo, but I indeed get two roads set up. Although this isn't the "best" photograph, I think it captured what I wanted. Two roads dividing. There's a lot of things I could fix in this -- like that purple ray of light of the rainbow in the top right to center. But I think this really strikes me personally. I have NO clue what I want to do yet with my life...I do, feel like Frost in his famous poem, caught between so many roads of life. But it's more than two roads -- I feel as if I have many roads and I have to pick one before I graduate high school. I guess that's what stinks being a jack of all trade, master of none. I guess I'd really like to be "great" at something..not just "good" But I'll figure that one thing out later in life. Now I can only keep on loving life and trying to make the world a better place each day at a time...living out the the way I talk and say I believe, loving people and God...he has a plan for me...I'll have to trust in that. I also fear I'll walk down one road...and come against a dead end...

Text Shapes! :)
Today/Yesterday we were using the paths tool and typing on the path. It was quite some fun, and there was lots of room for creativity using words AND art. A great combination. I think some of the greatest poetry is word art.

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Using the pen tool.
A simple circle. I wanted to show how love and whut whut is a circle. 8D;
This speaks about the moon. The moon, the mystical lantern that's in the sky...it's very enticing to some, and guides one through the night.

Layer Styles
This project we did in Art Tech. was using Layer Styles. Lots of different effects, and different things like that. I added an optional background idea. I cannot really remember what I was doing when I made this project, as we made it before a long weekend, but I can only think I was sad about something? Who knows. It's kinda a cheesy poem, and the layer styles didn't help, but this is the project. I think I need to put more effort towards these projects...I haven't been satisfied with a single one yet.

Andy Warhol Style, Day Two.
Alright...this is day two. However, this is a photo of, yours truly. We could only use the filters, so there wasn't much color change, but different things filtered through on top/manipulated into the image. I hope you enjoy this! :)

Fixing/Restoring An Old Photo

Alright, to the left is a before picture, and to the right an after shot. Today we were restoring an old photo that had holes, scan repairs, etc. To the left is the original, to the right is the edited one. Lots of fun. :) As well as that, I will put this photo of a young man up. I can't access the original photo anymore. :(

New photo, different old lady.
Wah-zah. We had to do a similar project, but we had a choice of what we edited...and this was the old lady. :) I thought the ear was the most difficult, then the eye color. I've been having LOTs of fun messing with photoshop. Favorite class of the day. Enjoy. :)

Old Lady
Howdy ya'll, I hope your all good. :) This old lady is looking for a smooch! ;) We had to do a lot of things for this project...a lot of band-aid tool, LOTS, and plus the gaussian blur tool. As well as this, I would variously use the brush tool, the auto contrast, and the clone stamp too. I really liked this project, and it was a fun one. This picture made me laugh. A lot. I hope you enjoy and find the comedy in this as much as I do. As well as this, we created a watermark. Art tech class is funn! :)
